So I finally got the new Ebay purchase back from the garage

It needed

2 New Tyres
2 Handbreak Cables
2 Wheel Cylinders
New front Discs & Pads
drop Links
steering Boot gaitors
New drivers Door strap/check

I still have a ABS wiring issue but to be sorted

Overall a lovely Car, we've managed to have the family private plate put on too - and a clean and polish.

Looking good, I broke one of my rules on the wife's recent purchase, swore I'd never own a black car again after owning one many years ago, nightmare to clean but stunning when all polished up, 2 lovely looking a2's you have.

Its amazing how well our cars look after a good wash and polish. I agree with you re the black colour being hard to keep clean looking but the in above photo it looks stunning. :)

Ive known one or two funerals where the poor unfortunate has been given a send off in an old VW campervan but never a black A2. Mind you if you remove the rear seats completely...........:)
