I believe the Bose system has 1 ohm drivers. Reading Ersten's convo from a while back, it explains what I figured when thinking about this last night: there's a lot of marketing in this. 200W is 200W, but into 1ohm vs 4 ohms is a big difference. Lower impedance means higher current needed for the same output power but the speakers are by definition less efficient. So it's not as loud. It also appears that the Bose does equalization in the amp itself. Which is the probably not just for the car, but also for the crossover and the characteristics of the drivers.Just noticed my question read wrong, i meant to say or was it autocorrected?, are these speakers compatible ie; will they work with the A2 Bose system?
Short version: maybe, but it will probably sound awful. A Gzha mini four or focal impulse 4.320 will probably do well.
