If you are old enough to have driven a 205 1.9GTI hard into a corner, you would understand .
Lift off oversteer? I am old as the 205 so I haven't opportunity to do but heard about it. But it is more about axle geometry than adding sway bar. If it has too much toe in then sway bar won't magically change it to 205 GTI. Just my opinion and I would like to see some proof that it make difference. E.g. comparable lap times 😉

I fitted the rear bar about 4 years ago, when I fitted the 1.6 engine into the car . It Helped with weight transfer on Corning . But now I have poly bushed the rear end too .

Car was already running gas shocks and 30mm lowering spring around.

With the TT alloys and car runs a wider track too.
