Vacuum in fuel tank

Hi,

When i open the fuel filler cap on my A2 -01 to fill up fuel, it sucks in alot of air, just like there is vacuum in the tank.
Does anyone have any experience of this, and some ideas what to do?

My Polo does that too. there is a little plastic button inside the filler which when pressed releases all the air and that enables more fuel to be put in did once and got another 5 litres of fuel in. never done it again as not sure whether its good idea

I got a bit worried when this happened. I have had the car for a few month, and only the last two times i filled the tank i noticed this "vacuum". Feels much better now when i know i is supposed to do that!
