Hi everyone my 02 A2 deposits a considerable amount of fluid onto the tarmac after a longish run it appears to be water coming fron the air conditioning unit. It happens constantly and I'm always getting good natured people telling me about it. Is it normal and nothing to worry about? or should i be doing something to stop it happening.

Hi,
It is quite normal for the A/C condenser/dehumidifier to produce water and deposit it on the ground - indeed if it wasn't doing this, then your A/C probably wouldn't be working properly. My other car usually leaves a considerable puddle whenever I have driven anywhere on a warm day.
