Coldest day of the winter so far. Minus two degrees. Guess which bit decided to stop working?
Has anyone had their auxilary heater fail - webasto type?
I'm guessing it is the auxilary heater, as there was none of the usual distant roar that I get on cold mornings. Temperature gauge didn't shift until I built up speed to about 50mph. Temperature rose to the normal rock steady 90 degrees and stayed there until I got stuck in heavy traffic, when it went down to 80 degrees. Reducing the temperature on the climate control from 22 to 19 allowed it to go up again.
Is there an easy fix? Econ is not lit on the climate control.
Advice please.
