What about this a2 ?

Yes but is there any official from Audi ?
Look in the service book, it's definitely every five years, or
xx,xxx miles. Not sure of xx,xxx.
It was reduced by Audi, as there were some failures at a lower mileage than first specified. Given that a belt failure is a "good night Vienna" for the engine, don't push your luck

Looked at my Service Book, and all I can find is that the cam belt should be replaced at the same time as the poly belts, (not sure I have them), but it's every 60,000 miles.
The FSI and TT are changed, along with water pump and tensioner, every five years.
The service book seems a bit light on the FSI. Bit disappointed 😥

I am asking just to be sure if a seller is trying to scam me
In this case, the seller says it is every 180000 kilometers

That's way too long. Sounds to me like the seller doesn't want to drop the price to take account of the belt needing to be changed, so they're telling you it doesn't need to be changed. Walk away, there will be another suitable car out there.

actualy the price droped from 6800 to 5900 in two weeks.
I am surprised that it has not been sold yet.

Euros yes.
I think most people think its price can rise over the time but im not sure about that :D
The FSI is the A2 with the best performance. It is rare, (only around 7-800 left, in UK), and a good one will be very difficult to find. This is why a good one is expensive. An investment? No idea, I drive mine, the pleasure it returns is the dividend.

Well, the VAG said 180k km is fine for timing belt for gasoline engines but first thing I always do when I buy a used car is changing the timing belt. Because you never know how long it is in and it gives you fresh start. So from my perspective I don't understand the thinking about if it has been done or not. Just change it and be safe. This type of thinking about not doping it because it should have been done last year/5k km is never beneficial, but usually opposite 😉
