What color is this trim please

Might be worth putting a good quality brake light switch in anyway seeing as they are only £10 or so - just in case.

I probably will do. There are plenty on fleabay but does anyone have any suggestions for a supplier of good quality one?
 
Fitted a Meyle one. Anything branded should be ok - but they are probably all made in China these days!!
 
@Nick , how old is the car battery. Look for a date stamp on it. Numerous electrical problems and false warning are caused by an aged failing battery. Tayna batteries - no I do not work for them - always have a good range of brands for next day delivery. Just make sure you get one with enough ampage, do not go for a smaller one.

Hi there, I replaced the battery about 4 years ago but as the car isn't run much it soon loses its charge. Even when fully charged the electrical issue are still apparent so cpould it still be the battery causing the issues?
 
Very much YES. Replace it and either get a battery conditioner they sell for classics or a plug in solar charger to keep it topped up, assuming it is not kept under cover!!

Normally somewhere under the boot floor in the battery & tools section. The exact location varies depending on who put it there, but that area is where the vast majority of them went. The other place you'll find it is on the inside front cover of the service book, if you have it.

The guy already checked, nothing in the boot and i think the service handbook is gone.
Someone said that it can be under the carpet on the front passenger
On a another forum I've found this picture, does anyone know where it can be ?

It's in the under-boot floor compartment, where there is usually an empty frame. In this case the frame is missing and someone is storing their wheel centre caps in there.
 
So if you still want to know the colour of the trim as that is the topic of this thread post a nice clear colour picture of the trim and we will identify it assuming French trim followed UK trim.
