Where is the ccu on a a2 please?

Having a few proples with locking and interior loghts flashing and been told its my ccu so going to have it cleaned but where is it located. Seen some people saying pass foot well but on A2's diagrams of under the bonnet.

Anyone shed some light on this please and is it easy to get to etc....

Hi and welcome to the A2oc.

It is in the passengers footwell. But I would Be surprised if giving it a clean will sort it. It will proberly need repairing.

It's easy enough to get to Just lift the carpet and the covering panel.

I have found the ccu. When opening the door the interior light was flashing and the ccu was clicking so i tapped the ccu and it stoped i the pressed the remote and locking worked but then started clicking again. I have opend the ccu to see if there is any burnt components but cant see any faults
