Wind Deflectors

Any thoughts about the effectiveness of these to reduce wind buffeting. I see they are available on eBay. Has anybody tried them?

What is the concensus of opinion as to how much they might affect the aerodynamics ... and therefore fuel consumption?

Hi

if you want to reduce wind buffeting, when you have your window open. Try opening the rear window about 2 inches, it virtually eliminates the problem, and its cheap!!

Can't help on the deflectors though, if you really want them.

very useful if you like the windows open in the rain as the A2 design means water pours through an open window when at speed..

i might look into some, how much are they?

any chance of a part-number so i can speak to vagparts

They actually look pretty good.. now the weather's better, I've noticed having the windows open on the A2 can be a bit unpleasent given the buffeting and incoming water after you've just attempted to wash a load of flies off the windscreen!!
