wiper replacement

I see there was some talk of a mod to the wipers by using parts from a VAG parts I think - my wiper is catching the A pillar and Im not 100% sure if its a worn linkage or a dodgy wiper blade - any thoughts on best source for parts to modify and was the mod worth it ??

If its catching the drivers side A pilar then i would say its been off at some point and not fitted low enough, so when it sweeps across its hitting the A pilar, you can try re-fitting it. As to the mod you'll find that to replace the old style blade for the new floppy areo blade, which you either fit the new arm and blade or some have been getting hold of a adapter from the German club (not sure if there are any left from them though)
