Have they given you a reasonable timeframe for a newly built A2? If so I'd get your dealer to supply written confirmation and then write back saying that if it isn't there to the exact spec agreed (your inital spec plus the compensation) that you'll either cancel the order and demand a full refund, or further compensation along with your vehicle.
A new A2 was ordered right away. Although my salesguy remained vague, he mentioned week 30 or week 35 for production (eg. not delivery!). 30 would be nice. 35 would make my total wait twice as long as it should have been.
As for 'demanding things', I'm in no position to do that, really. This will be a lease-car, which I'll treat as my own, but which is of course owned by the company.
I don't know if they (the leaseco) plan to seek compensation. I hope not, because it's better for me if _I_ get compensated with additional options. Not the leasecompany. I haven't informed with the leaseco to find out if they knew about anything at all. Contact is only possible through my own company, which isn't to keen on bothering with drivers like me, who want all the details right
And yes, I'm wondering too what the h#ll happened in Ingolstadt!
