Not sure to be honest. Just joined up a couple of days ago. I’ll speak to a motor factors again tomorrow but no luck with 2 unfortunately. I’ve managed to get the right belt. I don’t think there are too many non a/c about. It’s odd not having one to check as most cars come with them. Not to worry, I will get sorted. Just want to get one ordered up to get engine working. If I can ensure running well I’ll be trying to secure loads of other small parts.
Tell me, where’s the best A2 forum for parts? I assumed in here but can’t see. Not sure if I’m not allowed up a level as a newbie.
Really appreciate the help navigating this minefield! My other toy is a Range Rover Classic - much more simple lol
Me too ?Paul @depronman we were typing at the same time
Gents, your help is very much appreciated. I will pay the £2 now. Sorry only working out the site and all that comes with it.You could try this crowd. They even state a/c or non a/c just double check all details are correct. You could also phone them to discuss.

Jeff, nice Disco! I have a 1984 Classic I’m rebuilding on a galvanised chassis currently. The A2 is my new run around and 3rd we’ve had ??Hello and welcome mykl, there isn't a time limit for accessing the Market Place on here, where you'll find many parts for sale and posts from a couple of members who regularly dismantle end of life A2s for parts.
In order to view the market, you need to make a minimum donation of £2.00. You can find the donation page from the main menu.
I agree that it is probably easier to find parts for a RR Classic - I have a Disco 1 V8 that's not been butchered that I intend to keep as good as I can - but the parts are usually more expensive once you've sourced them!
Good luck with the alternator and enjoy your A2 ownership (and the pleasure of getting more than 15 mpg!)
