I checked ULEZ, my 2005 1.6 petrol seems to qualify for no charge. For a while anyway.

tomorrow, I'm driving from the Netherlands to the south of France. I'll then head into the Alps, then back to the Netherlands and eventually back to the North West of England.

Sounds like a great drive, at least for the beach and mountainous parts!

Out of interest, do you have any breakdown protection that still works overseas? I’m pretty sure you especially could diagnose most issues, but regardless, most recovery services have a vehicle age cut-off was that now means most A2s are on their own.

The majority, if not all petrols, are exempt. None of the diesel A2's are, which is why mine's a petrol.

I used to do 350miles a week in our TDI90. Poor Jules was dirty most of the time.
