Had to dash early as I was back in work tonight, was good being part of the convoy and I was really impressed with the amount of A2's that showed up. :D

It's confirmed my love of Colour Storms, and I've written myself a nice list of parts I need to tidy mine up further :)

Great photos by the way :)

Not long back after a grand day out in great company. It was lovely to meet new and old friends alike and see so many fantastic A2s in attendance. A special mention to Sir Sarge and his good lady wife; a long overdue meeting after many years of correspondence on these pages. I'm told I look younger than imagined; I'll take any compliments I can get in this regard and milk it. Thanks Sarge.

Despite some delays in getting to the pitch for some, AITP9 didnt disappoint if you love cars from a certain marque. A great mix of old, new, purist originality, personalisation and extravagant from all eras and models. The mark 1 TT community put on an immense showing with some great examples including our own Jeffers beautiful Imola Yellow 3.2 pride of place.

A big thanks as always to Mike and Vonnie for another well-organised and well-equipped social. Thanks to all those who as always shower our children with love and kindness of the most sincere kind. Humbled and grateful as always.

All in all, a great day all-round. Pictures as soon as I get chance; great photography and camera work so far.

I want thank all those that joined us on the a2oc club stand - great to see lots of new faces and A2's. Managed to gather 30 A2's on the club pitch including a set of the "common" colour storm editions. We had owners from near and far with one guy from Edinburgh-387 miles and a now regular visitor from Germany -403 miles not inc the water bit lol. He made the trip in his Euro only spec 1.2tdi with over 300k miles under its belt and still averaged +100 mpg.
I know it was slow getting in but a great day was had by all. The day was made even better by enjoying the food that several of the members brought along - thanks Robin Henderson ,Maddy Henderson for the short bread, Belgium buns and fresh milk. Teresa your cup cakes were as tasty as they were worthy winners on British bake off. Last but not least sarges wife I think could have fed the whole show with samosas and dip along with sandwiches. If I have missed anyone I apologise now.
Thanks for the many hands in putting the flags and tent up along with the new signs. We were I think the last club to leave and it was quite alarming just how much rubbish some left ! It clearly said on the info from AITP - remove all rubbish. Nice to see our area was left as we found it.
Thanks also the the team at AITP for their hard work and preparation for a great day out. Sure it was slow getting in but just look at just how many cars were coming in - I'm sure the team are already working on a solution - bring on AITP 10

Forgot to say - how cool was the convoy there 23 A2's and we made it almost there as one long line, only getting split by those HGV's - I did feel sorry for them getting caught up in the queue whilst trying to earn some dosh. Cheers Mike

Also a big thanks to Kieran and Diane for the lemon cakes and Darren for all the help putting up the flags and gazebo as well

I had a great day although seemed to spend most of it wondering around the show - so many cars to see - so apologies if Indidnt say hi

I do like this show it's the best opportunity, for me anyway, to get to see so many beautiful 80 cabriolets,Coupes,an S2 and S6 if we're lucky, type 89 coupes,B4's,C4's etc etc and of course the lovely A2's! It's where i met Darren last year and first sat in an Cobalt A2 so would have loved to have been there but due to unforeseen circumstances it just wasn't possible. Hope to be there next year and say hello to you guys again.Cheers Mark. :)

What a fantastic day. Most people didn't like waiting to get in but I loved it. It was great to see all those Audis, including an amazing amount of A2's, descending on Deene Park like a swam of bees. As always Lee and I were made so welcome by everyone both new and old. So many new names to remember. Please friend me up as I am getting old.

What an amazing array of food goodies. Lee just couldn't get enough of those Samosas.

Big thanks to Teresa who brought me some Gluten Free cakes so I wouldn't feel left out and to Kayleigh who made me a beautiful loom band bracelet.

And a really big thank you to Yvonne and Mike. You guys are amazing.

Hi George many of us did see the red snail and it's even better in the real world rather than on line. Thank you for visiting us and chatting. The video is fantastic and I thank you for sharing it with us. Hope you had a good trip back home. See you again I'm sure. Take care mike and Yvonne

Stunning work as always George. A pleasure to meet and talk with you and see the legendary red snail in the flesh so to speak. A fine example of tasteful modifications which enhance the beauty of the A2 further still. The paint finish and detail is superb. A beautiful car.
