Lol, believe it or not, I wasn’t going for stand out, I was aiming for a contemporary subtle glow....that ship has sailed, hasn’t it... it’s definitely not subtle. I’m so impressed with the job they’ve done. Will have more pictures tomorrow :)

Ian, Steve’s been telling me about your plans :-D Now that will be a one off and definitely something fierce to behold!!!

Car is starting to look nice Sam, I'm sure the finished article will be a real and unique car, but is that allowed to have two unique A2's in one household?!

I've come out my TDi 90 A2 today and back into my glorious DTM, for a short while but wow!, what a machine.

Thanks Sarge, coming together now isn’t she :) I got nervous reading your comment; “will be a unique car, but is that allowed”, ? You had me thinking I was going to be shunned by purists, for meddling with the A2s standard appeal.

Ill admit, I’m the last person that ever thought I’d be this into modifying. I’d enjoyed it when we did minis, but I thought that was the “mini effect”, but I’ve enjoyed this more....think it’s because this time around it’s just aesthetic changes, so nothing too dirty/ oily. No sheep dips in swarfega ?

I won’t pretend to know what you’re on about with your last para?? I thought DTM was a racing / formula 1 term? Like Jon Snow, I know nothing! Say hello to Nasra from us all ???

The "DTM" is his toy A4 DTM Special, ie eternal keeper... , like my Scirocco ;)
 
Hey Sam, this is my DTM, a rare beast and one that will only go up in value, the very best one available, however, due to long term health issues she'll be for sale, which will be a 'very, very' sad day for me.

Both looking very funky indeed, but remembering the slope on your driveway just make sure there are no nudged handbrakes during the rebuild or we could have the most uniquely disastrous A2 collision in the history of the world!

Heading to bed now as the girls will be up at 6am. Leaving Steve out there...... he’s having a bit of a meltdown bc the OSS is jamming like Bob Marley :-/

Other than that, she’s back together nicely. Just the seats to go back in tonight.

Alloys and new windscreen tomorrow

Doorcards won’t be fitted until next week.
