some of you may be wondering why u got no points
no need to worry see rules below taken from site

Practice Races:

You may select a team and score points for the Australian Grand and the Malaysian Grand Prix. However, these two Grands Prix are your practice races and will not count towards the overall competition. Points scored in the practice race will be reset on the 17th April 2009 at 17:00 (UK time) to start scoring points for the season from qualifying day of the Chinese Grand Prix (Grand Prix 3).

I'm confused. I chose Australia as my bonus, but I'm supposedly not able to choose either Australia or Malaysia so what happens?

actually i was thinking the same, i'm currently top of the league, and i now feel i have wasted my bonus. help, please explain in simple terms what these practice races really mean ??

even more confusing, i have just read the rules on profantasyf1...

'You also need to select a Bonus Circuit - you will receive double points for your Bonus Circuit. The Bonus Circuit must be chosen at the start of the season and cannot be changed. You cannot select the practice races as your Bonus Circuit.'

but it let me select a practice circuit ?!?!?!?!?!

oh well i suppose i should enjoy my five minutes of glory at the top of the league (-:

There looks to be a few teething troubles but the easy way around this is to submit another team (it's free!) and leave the current one alone.

It'll be interesting to see if the scores are updated in the future in the case of Stewards decisions such as has happened today - what if this had occurred in the proper scoring session in a few months time?

Cheers,

Mike

Sorry chaps
We ran the same fantasy league last year and we had the same few practice races
at the start of the season ,but fortunatly nobody chose Austrailia ,im not sure what happens
but i have sent the organizers an email on your behalf so as soon as i get a reply i will let u know we will get it sorted out ......

Just got an email from the organizers and they are reconsidering reseting the bonus track so u should be able to change this before the China GP .....

Not sure why I didn't get any points in the practice race. i did everything in time I thought. Oh well.

I'm not precious about it, but I'm not 48 years old, either - whch is what the site has 'calculated' from my birthday. I'm holding on tight to 47.

Details, details ... ;-)

Good to see that you are still an active member Al.

Hope that life is treating you well and hopefully we will have you back as an A2 owner in due course.

Thanks, DC

Life bumps along in these bizarre times. Work is quite tough, but there is still work so I'm thankful for that.

On the A2 front, I need to find a nice cheap one for a runabout, ideally a diesel with a tow bar. (I don't want much do I?!). Nearly cleared all the bits. TV tuner off this weekend - just the dog guard to go!

I'm looking at guesting at the either or both of the spring/autumn socials (parking round the corner of course)!

It will be good to see you mate in any model car - I'll keep my eyes peeled for that rare breed of A2/Diesel/Towbar combo.

Still unable to change the bonus circuit.

Does anyone mind if I enter another team in our league? (Skips suggestion)

I'll pick the same line up for continuity purposes, but will select a different bonus circuit.

I've no objections and I'd urge anyone else in this position to get another team together with a different bonus circuit.

Cheers,

Mike

Well ...............................................................................................No i don't mind go for it

Cheers Phil
