Had a new arrival yesterday.
A 1 owner 53k mile 1.4 A2. Has been in South London all it’s life and now made its way to me to breathe a bit more life back into it.
A typical London car, the bumpers need a respray and so do the alloys, but the it’s been very well maintained mechanically and the interior is excellent.
I’ve started getting a list of jobs together
Interior
Sagging headliner
Cupholder broken
Volico the swing grey areas of wear
Exterior
Passenger sill replacement (crack)
Driver and passenger mirror housing replacement as stiff
Front and back bumper painted
Alloys refurbed
New numberplates
Headlight refurb
Wiper arm refurb
Continental 185/50/16 needed osf
Engine
New alternator? Grumble on pulley
New starter motor - squeal on run on
Timing kit change (no record of ever being changed).
Nothing major, and once done it’s going to be a cracking example with its history and 1 owner.
I’ll also be sending off for the COC certification so that it can be registered ULEZ compliant.
