Finally, MOT pass - and only took 5.5 months!
Despite new wheels and tyres from this site which measured up fine (2 had a "buckle" of 1mm, the others around zero) the same tester advised 3 wheels "slightly distorted" - unbelievable..... but then that was the guy who failed it too on a severe leak from a front shocker.
As sick of the sight of the car lately just put it in a local garage who, after a £250+ bill for new track rod end, shocker, drop link and 2.5 hours labour as everything was seized and needed cut out, asked me why did I want the shocker changed anyway???? Aaaaaargh
