Open Sky - "popping"

I didn't realise the rear panel opens... I thought it was only the front one which did (mind you, I've not tried opening it since I bought mine! :) Not really the weather for it yet).
 
mine was proper stuck yesterday - but I'm not surprised, it hasn't been opened since September, so I pushed it up and away it went. It will get some TLC very soon.

A helping hand

Passing on a bit of what I consider valuable advice I got from Mike (Skipton) when we were cleaning and lubing my OSS. When opening the roof the motor draws a lot of power and to reduce the strain caused by friction just give the glass panels a gentle helping hand from inside the car.
 
I do this too, give the system a helping hand! My rear panel made quite a loud "squop" sound when I opened it for the first time since last autumn just the other day. Think the seals need a lube.
