Hi all,
My A2 battery had drained having not been used very little over the last couple of months.
I jump started it and took it for a drive and everything was working fine. I decided to also buy a smart battery charger to keep the battery level topped up whilst the car is not being used.
I went to start the car today and the engine starts up fine but I now have a yellow steering symbol and oil sensor fault lights on the dash. The steering is very heavy. I checked the 80A fuse under the passenger footwell and that looks ok. Any ideas on how to resolve, I guess the first course of action would be to scan the fault codes in the car. I seem to have misplaced by VAGCOM so I am currently turning the house upside down to look for it!
Any help will be much appreciated
