Project Cone

I believe it's called Sinus rather than Cirrus, but whatever the name, it's the standard non-upgrade fabric. It does look blue in the photo doesn't it, but if it's dark and on an '02 plate or later (also goes for most but not necessarily all '51s) then it'll be Soul black. That must be the most numerous interior spec so there should be a good chance of coming up with a replacement seat in good nick. If you want to confirm with a prospective vendor, the interior code on the service sticker will be N0G/YA.

Cheer sir.

Hi James, is this the standard dark interior from an SE?
I do have a driver's seat in good condition that just needs a bit of a clean up

Hi sir. Need to check

Is there anything I can check on the build sheet?

As stated by Ian the trim code for Cirrus Soul ( black )

This will be on the build sheet A.K.A. options sticker or PR code sticker in both the service book and also in the boot behind the battery.

I think I’m going to do a JDD box in the car. Anyone in Scotland got one that I can have a drive in, passenger or driver?

I now have a cheeky wee remap in place and WOW what a difference. On to the gearbox soon!

Hi Mr B, no JDD but a few six speeds you could try. JDD is definitely a marmite box. Fine on the flat, not so great in hills.
Thanks Georg,

Looking at the value on this as the JDD is quite compelling as a gearbox at £200 delivered, plus with the remap the car should pull well through the longer gears. I'll take a look at 6 speeds if I can make it make sense financially though 👍

Another £200 or so gets the six speed….

Impressive list of what has been achieved and the wish list. One thing please DO NOT fit the springs on the tailgate struts. The A2 is not structurally strong enough and problems include leaking tailgate, distorted tail gate, strut mounts torn out and even hinge fracture.
