Project Papaya (CS)

Quick update on the Wynns product. I've now had it in for around 200 miles and unfortunately there has been no noticeable difference, I'll update the thread if this changes but for me this has not been successful. :(
 
A further update on Wynns; and with the benefit of trying another couple of A2 1.4s it has definitely had no effect and I cannot unfortunately recommend it, the engine will be fixed in due course but the next items on the list are a slight exhaust leak and fitting the new dogbone linkage.

On the upside I now have new embossed number plates and new surrounds making a big difference aesthetically.

Dogbone now completed and what a difference. Now on to the exhaust. How enlightening it was getting under the car. :)
 
Today I have now had fitted the centre cubby under the handbrake, Heko's and 50% of the way through a sport steering wheel.

Tomorrow I have the space saver spare wheel to fit and a clean and polish before going into the garage for some suspension TLC.

After missing out on Simufly's Black leather/alcantara seats I'm now on a mission, if anyone has some leather/alcantara black sports seats with lumber (and dare I say it heating) let me know,the alcantara I'm not fussed about condition wise but otherwise the seats should be in really good condition, needing some other bits too but will write up a full list for my next post.

DON'T DO IT. You have the rarest colour storm out there, keep the original interior.

I personally wouldn't go back to my original storm seats, I love the sports leather and having them heated for my sins is bonus too, the only ones I'd change them for now would be heated alcantara!!
But that's just me, good job we are all different, it'd be boring othersise��.

Is that a bit of photoshopping there! Two members of the german club turned up for the social earlier this month with this colour. Was disappointed by the lack of colour inside.

They both had leather/alcantara in black. Nowhere near as bright as the outside .

Today it was time to get some new lighting sorted, so we have NightBreaker Unlimited dipped and fog lights and some nice LED side lights. No main beam yet as I'm yet to get them. Shots from left to right are old bulbs, half and half headlights/side lights then full set. What an improvement!
