If you came to me there is about a 20% chance I could sort out the keys. If Mike has the time and you visit him the odds go up to 99.9% (I'm just trying to save you a wasted journey)

Well, after a little bit of perseverance and a lot of help from people on here I finally got my keys working with the car again! :D Mike kindly took time out from his day on Sunday and registered the keys with the newly repaired 'convenience' unit. Sorted. The windows even go up and down with the buttons into the bargain :p

Big thanks to all! No doubt I shall be bothering you with more A2 stuff in fututre...
