I am also curious on this topic. From what I see in the RNS-E encoding options there is an option to enable the OPS.

Checking the CAN bus schematics for the Audi A2. I see that the parking sensor control unit and the RNS-E are on a different CAN bus. Therefore, the instrument panel should route the messages from the PDC system with the distance information, to the other data bus so that this information reaches the RNS-E. I don't think our dashboard does this router since no A2 left the factory with RNS-E.
As a test, the parking sensor control unit could be put on the CAN data bus of the RNS-E. As far as I know, the PDC control unit uses the CAN bus to inform itself of the vehicle speed, and this CAN speed message is very likely to be on both data buses (with VCDS you could see if the PDC receives the speed signal). And anyway as far I know, this speed information where it is really used is in cars with a front parking sensor (to deactivate the PDC at a certain speed).
I don't know if master
@timmus has done any tests with this RNS-E coding with OPS and PDC system in the same CAN bus, maybe he can help us clarify this issue.
