september 2009 a2oc camping/chatsworth house

Correct Richard - lazy get up, pack up and a drive through the Cheddar gorge of the Peak District (Winnats Pass) and on to lunch at Hathersage, as before.

Folk can then head back onto the M1 as required.

Cheers,

Mike

Of so then ill try to meet you and wat hi and watch THE A2extravaganza.

Best wishes from an a2freak in Holland

According to the weather it looks like it is going to be dry, friday, saturday and sunday :)

Hope this weekend goes well, fingers crossed with the weather and Mike don't forget they may need a big hammer to make sure them tent pegs are well in if this wind carry's on tomorrow lol, looks like i'll be working all weekend, i'll be ok driving brand new Audi's and VW's around honest

Have a good un' Phil

We can't make up our minds about gong for the day only tomorrow. With all the rain over the past couple of days the ground conditions could be challenging! Does anyone have any experience of how the show ground area stands upto a soaking? Hope those of you camping have a great time!

well all home safe and sound(looking forward to a bed that doesn't slope!)just to say we had a great time and would like to thank all that came and made it a great weekend. mike(Skipton) found us a great route for the drive out and nice pub lunch. i will post a link to the photos in due coarse.
cheers mike

Just to echo the comments so far - had a great weekend and really enjoyed seeing the 'gang' again!

The weather wasn't inclement at all apart from a couple of light showers whilst BBQ-ing on the Friday and the toast-a-thon last night under the stars was fantastic.

Thanks go to Mike (A2sumo) for a first-class, first social as secretary, also to Robin and Maddy for the foresight of a wind-break and the provision of the tables for the outdoor curry evening.

Still can't quite work out how Heidi & Paul got all their gear AND 2 kids into the A2 in comfort! and thanks to Richard and Chrissy for keeping the noise down;)

Here's to camping in 2010 and yes, we'll try to sleep in the tent this time!

Cheers,

Mike

We went for the day on saturday and what a great event, sorry i didn't get to meet up with any of the campers! (Bumped into a former neighbour from where i used to live). One of the best game fairs I have attended, the dog also loved it and I was surprised at how many other 'flatties' were there.

adrian888 that is your choice in not using facebook-no registration is needed to view my photo's.not quite sure what point you are making? as a matter of fact there was only one member at the camping trip that isn't on facebook, but i guess he would like the choice as to view them or not though.
cheers mike
