Just adding my name to the list of the 200k+ club with my 2001 TDi 75. Yes, I need to clean the car, and also fix the airbag wiring under the passenger seat...

I bought this 6 years ago with 140k on the clock, it had been very poorly looked after and required a new cylinder head and most of the coolant related parts replacing but has been near perfect ever since. Other than the head and a replacement turbo the engine is original. Used to take me on round trips from South London to the North East (600 miles a week) every week for 2 years or so, I've been all across Europe and it has never failed to start or missed a beat.

Heartening to see some of the extra high miler TDis on here - Long live the A2!

A thread like this has been started before but obviously time has gone by so mileages would have increased.

I'll start the thread so that I can update the first post with the current 'winner'.

The only rules are that the car must still be on its original engine. Head work/injectors etc are fine but it must still be the original block and cylinder head.

Also, I know there would be no reason for anyone to lie but please can any claim be backed up by a photo of the speedo showing the mileage.
