Will it ever be fixed ????

Of course there are very good reasons for returning my car to the dealership for a warranty problems, they clean it each time:D

I think it would be good to move on from this thread, I myself have had new gearbox, new wheels etc all through the help and advice of skipton, he is passionate about his A2 which is no real problem in the scheme of things. We are all here, whether it be Audi, Volkswagen etc to inform each other of our experiences with our cars, be it problems or praise, but those with problems and little knowledge are helped the most.

Regarding problems with the Audi system, it is all to do with communications and how effectively to use them.

Example:

I had my last problem sorted quite quickly and efficiently!

Search web forums and found valuable posts on Audi TT forum from ex VAG Customer Care mngr on how to complain.

Within 15mins of sending in email to five Audi UK directors (quite straightforward [email protected]!) I received an email back from MD, within 1 hr I received a phone call from audi dealership asking when they could sort problem out.

All this only came from being given correct information from Skipton on specification so I at least sounded as if I knew what i was talking about!

I have owned many cars in the past and I can honestly say not one has managed to pass its first year without a warranty claim! and I am not aware of any Car company that does not play the Diagnostic visit prior to the resolve?

Doc I agree with you Skipton is very passionate about his A2 and I appluad him for all the help he gives on this forum and long may he do so.

crb1011, thank you.

Doc, thank you

Can we now please draw this thread to a close, having learned that the A2 is far from perfect as is its dealer network?

Cheers,

Mike

Im sorry that only telling the truth about what i have had to endure with my A2 "will not be tolerated" well fair enough its your site and you have the the power to stop any opinions that differ from your own.

"Remember, Audi are still actively trying to fix your problem for you. So I suggest you hold your tongue and wait for the outcome"
Small point they arent doing it out of the goodness of their heart or because of their exellent customer relations, it is because they have no option as i have a one year approved Audi warranty that runs out in October when they will drop me like a brick.

As requested i will stop this thread, i think we all know our opinions on things now anyway!!

I will let you all know of my A2's latest trip to Glasgow Audi and whether replacing the injector valves will stop the misfires and hopefully force me to wash and hoover it myself for the first time since January.

Don.
