Mega!Finished off fitting the JOM coilover kit. Needed to fit longer bolts in the rear spring adjusters and fit the shorter "bmw" front drop links.
I've left it on minimum on the rear and about 10mm clear thread on the front until the springs settle and then I will check it over. Over christmas I decided to leave my current position and its 400 mile a week commute, so the mileage will drop massively.
The ride is a little firmer than the ones that were removed but not uncomfortably so, the ride is better than I had expected considering the full kit was under £170! The kit looks like its made in Germany and isnt really cheap looking, Took me about 5 hours for the whole job. The worst part was the rear arch liners caked in mud from the lane where the workshop is. Rear lower spring rubbers were shot but no longer required.View attachment 60177
So is the car lower than stock now?
I had to fit slightly higher tyres so our stock car could cope with those pesky speed bumps!
