Audis in the Park 2010

hi all,
just a quick thank you for the warm welcome received today at our first show audi in the park .hope theres more to go to .must say after 1 yrs ownership the a2 is a crackin little car and can understand their following .

well what a day we had--the sun was out--but more to the point we had 11 A2's !! so well done to all that made the effort,its you guys that make the socials a real pleasure to organise.
i would just like to thank Dave(riverlad) for the outstanding tea and coffee duties all day,Robin for helping me prepare all the meat for the BBQ.thanks also to all that helped with putting up the party tent and packing it up.
it was great to see such a good turn out and the cars drew lots off attention,special mention to john(john-wingnut) for having the dedication to polish his car to a great standard and entering in the show and shine.john you are now A2OC'S OFFICIAL SHOW AND SHINE ENTRANT lol
last year we had the spectacle of one "tt owner" throwing his toys out of the pram on hearing he hadn't one the show and shine--this year it was the turn of a certain A4 owner deciding to stop just past our cars and getting out to swear and gesture to a mystery person-then roar his car in reverse to pick a fight!!!! to much sun and sniffing polish i reckon.SO I WOULD LIKE TO APOLOGISE TO ALL OUR FEMALE MEMBERS AND KIDS AS THAT KIND OF BEHAVIOUR WAS MOST UNPLEASANT TO SEE/HEAR.
I will put a link on here to my few photo's i took--cant believe i never even walked around the show!!!
so to the next social--it was going to be 4-5 sept.but as some of you know that my wife(Vonnie)is waiting for surgery on her crook back.so it all depends on how that goes.but please rest assured there will be more before the end of the year. cheers mike

Ho yes thank's for all your advice John soon as I got home tried to repair the sensor switch but need the right star key all though I did manage to fix the light switch. Thank you all for the warm welcom we received.
 
and............ I have bought some plast RX by meguiars to sort my hazy headlights out, plus I have ordered some show plates ;) and some chrome plate surrounds, and removed the TDi badging from the boot lid and re attached my A2OC badges.................... all when I got home lol
