Back with an A2 Project – A2Steve

Today I did something I’ve done on a number of my project cars, a colour coded service flap. I felt there was far too much black at the front of the car so the black mirror caps and grille had to go. Very happy with the results.

Steve that looks really mean from the front end, really nicely done mate?

No the drivers is great but I’m waiting for a better passenger side to come in on one of my breakers. May try refurbing a set now that the weather is good for laquer.

Thank you mate. I always look at them with a critical eye but I can see it’s come a long way since I picked it up.

Just finished off fitting the other TT seat. Happy with the way they look and feel.

It’s looking really, really good steve. Not usually a fan of the body coloured flap but in that colour with those wheels it really works and the interior looks awesome.

Bit of a change of look at the moment with some S3 8L alloys. Will give them a refurb if they grow on me

Wheel change again. Now on Dare F6 OZ replicas in 7.5x17 after getting them at a rediculously cheap mates rates from @Hef

Only just fit over my big brake upgrade though

I'm torn between these and the 6 spoke S3's. If I'm being honest I prefer the S3 wheels but that's not to say the Dare wheels aren't nice it's just what I like. It's looking awesome either way Steve.

No they are not proper split rims, although look the part. Yes I am a bit of a wheel addict, but i'll be keeping these for some time as they ride so well.

Yes they are a bit marmite, but in the flesh they look fantastic.

Should be getting a votex front lip from @Jellybean next week, this will be colour coded to the car, along with the lower factory black valances. I'll also be looking to get the centre of the roof wrapped in gloss black. Oh and there's the disc brake rear axle conversion, and that hybrid turbo to fit and the.......repeat to fade. ?
