Is anyone else staying over locally on the Saturday night? I'm in the Elan Valley Hotel along with @Dave M and @chumsofmanutd and we've got food options there, but we'd be happy to meet up in Rhayader or somewhere else nearby if that's what people are doing.

You have read my mind, I was going to ask the same thing and thought a meet up in Rhayader would be good option. We are in a cottage down the road from Friday, so basically you name the time and place and we will see you there😀

Mandy, if you've got a day's head start on everyone else, could you possibly make some enquiries for good eateries locally? A meet-up for 7.00-7.30 should be about right. Those staying at EVH need to confirm yay or nay for food there, ideally by Friday evening for them to arrange staff.

Will do, we can't get in to our cottage until 5pm Friday so will go to Rhayader first to see what the offerings are. Look forward to catching up with some campervan talk😀
 
Just had a look on TripAdvisor for places to eat in Rhayader, there seems a very good selection, hope you don't want us to try them all on Friday afternoon 🍻🍷🥃, we will do our best.
I assume we are looking at 8-10 of us, do you trust us to book something if we find something we think is suitable?

Just the numbers that might be the fun bit to pin down. I think we can count on 6 (you & Martin, Lynette & myself, @Dave M and Glynis.

No idea what any of the others coming from ooop North are doing though. Surely @George Hogg has to be staying over from that far away but I guess it's a question of timing. Thanks to the Trowbridge contingent for confirming they're coming up on the day. I've also heard from Rob @chumsofmanutd and an arrival time can't really be fixed for him & Dani. So looking most like 6 plus maybe George at the moment.
 
My Grandson and myself are doing the trip from Wigan leaving around 7am about 2.5 hrs. Coming back we are going along part of the Mac loop hoping to see some fast jets. We were thinking of doing the Devil's staircase road too,but I think that's stretching it a bit for the day. See you all there or on route.

I plan on leaving home very early on Sunday morning. To meet you all at the agreed starting point at hopefully around 9.30-10 ish depending on any traffic but I know from past experience there’s very little going on the roads at that time on a Sunday morning. So the Tdi90 will be getting a good run with nothing to impede its progress to Wales 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿 . See you all on Sunday. Really looking forward to it.
 
Well, Vera is on the road again, so I'll be coming down in her for a blast. Looking forward to meeting some known and not known faces, I think I have probably dealt with most folk going in some way shape or form, and will be nice to put faces to names!!! See you there folks...
