I’d be inclined to hold onto them. Law of sod says if you sell them you’ll need them.
Ive had a new switch sitting unused in the glove compartment for 5 or 6 years after I did the above. The old one has just stayed working since!As a temporary I’d until it arrives, remove it and push the actuator in and out 20 or 30 times then re fit. You’ll likely find this solves the issue at least temporarily. On my gray car that temporary fix worked for 18 months. So long that I couldn’t remember where I’d put the replacement switch I’d procured from @CreweAudi !!
