Evening all,
Not much to update you all with recently as the upgrades have slowly come to a halt but a few minor tweaks are in the pipeline.
Apart from new driveshafts recently fitted I have also this week fitted new boots on the cast wishbone ball joints to keep them protected along with replacing the non existent rear coil spring lower rubbers.
The main reason why I’m here with you this evening is to announce a milestone that was achieved on the way home not so long ago.
Upon jumping in this glorious A2 in Lincolnshire some 2 hours ago the odometer looked like this:
Knowing that the commute home was 62 miles meant that I have to drive the local to home roads to clock up the deficit few miles to enter the 200K Miles Club. Here’s the odometer just outside
@bleng Towers (sorry Ben I should have popped in for a Catch up):
And finally parked up at 2work Towers a few minutes later:
It really has taken a while to get to this mileage. The odometer read something around 168k when I purchased it from Bob
@Jellybean a few weeks for the initial lockdown and haven’t done much of my usual 24-27k annual mileage since then. As things are pretty much back to normal, of course my mileage is starting to clock up again.
Here’s to the next 100k miles around Autumn 2026.
Kind regards,
Tom
