Tom, I think you need to look again, advisories on tyresMorning all,
A great start to the day here in Coalville:

Another successful MOT without advisories. So impressed with how this A2 has become since it’s purchase. It’s certainly the most economical car I’ve ever owned, well that’s if you disregard all the retrofit and upgrades I’ve completed the last 2.5 years. So glad I chose the TDI after the demise of my original BBY commuter.
Kind regards,
Tom
Morning Mandy,Tom, I think you need to look again, advisories on tyres
I had the same on Frankie, just annoyed we didn't change wheels before MOT then he would have had nice clean MOT.Morning Mandy,
Missed that but happy enough as I’m about to put the winter Pepperpots on. Should have done it last week when the temperatures dramatically dropped.
Must be more observant, maybe a New Years Resolution.
Kind regards,
Tom
Evening Steve,I’ve been searching for these too, made a little harder finding a front only switch. Anyway, these may be good for you if you can use a 4 way switch in one of the other cars.

Never keen on leaving it gear on the odd occasion you forget and lurch into something close by, wheels turned into the kerb as a secondary works ok.Morning all,
I cannot believe it’s been almost 6 months since I last updated this thread. Mainly as it’s been performing its daily duties without issue. It’s had a replacement starter motor and that’s about it the last few months. There was a time that I knew this vehicle better than my family but since handing it over to the other driver here (post the sale of Project 250) I’ve concentrated on bringing my latest commuter up to spec.
Anyway, from the big smiles on the Project EUD thread regards the mini suspension overhaul curing slight tyre rub and a rattle from the front I’m here with some not so good news, nothing serious fortunately…
A possibly unknown fault with the Audi A2 handbrake has raised its head. Whilst this may not apply to all drivers, some vehicle users need to be made anware of this issue.
Apparently when parked up, if the handbrake is not applied then the vehicle will actually move!
Here's evidence of what can happen if the handbrake is not applied:
Front of house with a little Azure Blue paint

Wheel arch that decided to paint the front of the house

Whilst this is nowhere near as bad as it could have been it’s still annoying. Another task for another weekend. Just need to decide upon replacing the wing for a factory Azure Blue item or getting the rattle cans out. It can wait as it’s not as bad as I first thought it was going to be when called out front to inspect the damage.
Apply the handbrake (or leave it in gear) people
Kind regards,
Tom
