South West Social 2021 - 30th May

Had a day off today so that’s exactly what I did this morning.
 
So tempting as on Sunday I'm driving from St Austell to Doncaster. Returning back to Cornwall Monday. Will undoubtedly be tanking along the M5 around that time.?! Is there an award for the most miles traveled in the previous 24hrs? as it will be over 600! Or the dirtiest car?! Never once stopped on the stretch between Bristol and Exeter its usually the most soul destroying stretch of road in the UK for me!

My record in a day in an A2 is 866 miles ?
 
I can't believe ive missed this post!!!!

Sadly im now committed for the weekend now, I would have loved to have come along with Project second chance, maybe next time

I have to say that does look really nice.

I had a set of those wheels on an A2 many years ago (and on my TT 20 years ago) and although a little on the heavy side they do really suit the car ??

I hope everyone is ready for tomorrow's social, I myself and my good lady are very much looking forward to it. I can't wait to see the look on people's faces when they see the fleet of A2's, a very unique experience.

I’ve just looked at the forecast for this morning 20% chance of rain, I’ll hold off polishing until this afternoon I think
