Without the steering assistance is is hard to drive when there is a lot of corners etc. - parking or maneuvering at slow speed is very hard.
But I done some research - A2 3L had no steering assistance - but the steering rack is different ( the same as in Skoda Felicia etc.) - and I believe that with different steering rack (different steering wheel ratio) it would be driveable.
