warwick castle weekend camping

Myself and son will hopefully be up for the castle visit on Saturday but probably not for the camping.

Hi all.
I emailed campsite today to request that I be put with the rest of our group.
They said it was no problem, but he asked me to send him the names of the people who have booked the campsite allredy.
So if you could put your names down for me to send off that would be great.

hi we have booked in and set up the "group" in the name of Yvonne English and "A2oc" must admit they don't seem that organised but I'm sure it will be fine.unfortunately i don't have others proper names but I'm sure they will add them to this thread.

They are asking if these bookings arre part of our group.

They advised that they fill up quite fast so passing this on.

hello campers not long now till we will be sleeping under the stars.lets all hope the weather is kind to us.
now as we are only just a week away i have run out of time to organise the group party discount(sorry our holiday and work trips to USA).so can i ask all that are coming to the castle next Saturday 3rd July to either pay on the day or book their own tickets on line-20%.PLEASE NOTE TESCOS IS OFFERING BUY ONE GET ONE TICKET FREE WITH THEIR VOUCHERS *BE QUICK AS IT TAKES 5 DAYS* so dig them out and save some beer tokens.
we will probably be getting to the campsite for mid day Friday and bbq'ing that night so bring some of what ever you fancy. if you are coming to the camp site Saturday I'm sure there will be someone to assist in getting you all set up quickly so we can all head off as a group.if you are not camping but wish to join us for the drive to the castle then I'm sure you can find us at the site--please note you may have to walk around the site as some camp sites minimise the traffic through the site of non campers.
Saturday night will probably be a sit down around the tents and enjoy a nice curry.then toasted marshmallows!!!
Sunday will be de camp and a drive out to a pub lunch then home to reality.

Im gonna book tickets online now, only £14.

I will be heading over to the camp site on saturday, so what sort of time would you recommend getting to the campsite??

Unfortunately we are not going to be able to make it. My wife has been unwell and we had delayed making a decision hoping things would improve but it looks very doubtful. Have a great time and hope the good weather continues for you.
 
Hi all i think a suitable time to leave the campsite for the castle on the saturday would be 10.30.The castle is only 25 mins drive away, so if people that are not camping and wish to join us for the drive can arrive for about 10.00 that gives us a chance to get a few photo's and a quick chat lol.
Anybody that thinks they cant make this time please let me know and i will pass on my mobile number so we can join up at the castle.
If you have any of those modern walkie talkie radios please bring them as they are handy to keep in touch.
 
I think I can make that. I'll be the one in the strange foreign A2 ;)

Sunday I'd be very interested in taking some time to take piccies, I think my wife will play ball.... need to search out some locations :D

Okey dokey campers (and those not so hardy!!), who, apart from ULP is planning on having an A2-related work done at the forthcoming social?

I know that Riverlad was, but he couldn't wait (eager beaver!!) and is coming up tomorrow, but are there any other things that members want doing, whilst I'm tooled up?
