Audi Driver International 2010

Is someon going to put up a proper link to the awards voting? Voting closes at the end of August!

The site is http://www.audidriverinternational.co.uk/ Then click on awards

Answers were:-

Q1 - Mike Hill A2OC
Q13 - A2OC
Q14 - A2OC

Only one vote per person/address - well there are four of us here all with different work addresses, maiden names etc. I reckon we can get our eligible votes into double figures:D

Ben normally sends and E:mail out to forum members with a link around now

Phil

I have looked at trip advisor and the hilton dose not fair to well. People say the beds are not that comfy and unfriendly staff. Good food though:D

I was wondering the views of members here, as I value what you lot think.

Many thanks

Hi David
Bearing in mind I have never been, my view is that with the Hilton you get a few more frills and a pool but it is still a chain hotel. If you look on street view you can stay across the road at the Premier Inn for half the price. The beds maybe no better but with that saving you may sleep more soundly. I also guess you do not need a pool as you could just jump over the side:)

Funny that you say that. My nextdoor neighboura has bent his rudder and has asked me to give him a hand to get it off:eek: So a dip in the river, it will weigh a ton so I better be careful and not drop it on my foot:D

Hi David,
I found that it was much the same as any hotel that I stay in for business travel. I've booked our room a the Hilton, a standard room without breakfast was showing as £61 and the Premier Inn was showing there cheapest room at £58 so for me the convenience of being in the same place as the Gala event, and that although clean the Premier Inn's always seem to basic for me I went with the Hilton choice and added breakfast on as well for the two mornings.

How did you manage that price it was showing £103 without breakfast when I looked

Just worked it out - one night is £103, 2 nights is £61 per night - So on cost, one night Premier Inn wins on two nights the Hilton is def the better choice!

Just looked again in case it had gone up since last night and same results.
I just went to www.hilton.co.uk then typed swindon in the green box to the right and entered the dates 8 - 10/10 and £61 for basic room shows up again Plus £15 for breakfast for two people or £7 for breakfast for one person

Thanks Vonni and Puglises for your feedback.

I think I will give the hilton a go for covienance. I hope to bee there about 730 so would be great to meet up for a meal.

David
