He's first quote was 700£ for the throttle body ,after agreeing of replacing such an expensive part that cost same price I paid for the car, came back to me after couple days saying there is more to it ... In the form of a short-circuited ECU, and the price is and additional 800£ ...In that case you need legal advice, especially as the original quotation included a new ECU, which he hasn't provided and would have covered most of the £800. Frankly, he shouldn't be charging you anything for his failure. Have you contacted Trading Standards or Citizens Advice? They are both free. You also need to think about a "review" on Facebook!
