Hi Paul
Will the bracket come with fitting instructions?
Thats great Paul, sounds simple enough.Let me PM Ian Butters as I supplied him a bracket and asked him to take pictures when he fitted it
It is very simple though
Undo the bolt securing the centre tunnel
Remove the rear nut from the handbrake mounting
Fit bracket over stun for handbrake and replace nut and just nip it up
Fit your arm rest to the bracket and position in lowest position
Spot drill through the bracket holes (2 off) 5mm dia holes (or 6mm dia if you are using 6mm bolts)
Fit the two nuts and bolts and tighten the hand brake nut
Refit the centre tunnel bolts
That is the bracket in place

@depronman has just pointed out that I'm not on the main list at all, but we'll down the reserve list: don't know how I missed that@depronman
Hi Paul, for info I'm happy to take my bracket set raw (unwelded / unpainted) and the trim as a raw print. Naturally still happy to pay the standard rate but I can then fiddle, tweak and test first, plus of course it'll save you a bit of time as well. In an unrelated matter I was going to ask you whether you had the file for your printed heated seat control mounting, but we'll tackle that via PM no doubt.
I was lucky enough to get my armrest for £35'ish all in IIRC, and once again, I've found that the eBay based breakers sent out an immaculate item that is all I could have hoped for.
On a wider note: @2work , @audifan and @depronman thank you again for all of your work on this: it's a complicated project with lots going on, a stressed part in a highly visible location. Juggling that out in the public with a queue of keen buyers isn't easy, especially when there is no pot of gold at the end, so just to say how much I appreciate all of this.
Morning Barry,@depronman has just pointed out that I'm not on the main list at all, but we'll down the reserve list: don't know how I missed that
I've said if push comes to shove I'll fabricate my own bracket and am happy to pay for the design.
Morning Barry,
The list of registered interest is at Post #2.
Yes I can see you down in 8th position on the reserve list.
There should well be a second run of these once a few things have been ironed out.
If you want to proceed alone then I'm quite sure that Paul will supply the files should you wish to produce your own. Im confident there will be no charge as the start state files from Duncan were FOC and they have been produced for the good and benefit of the Club and not for profit.
Kind regards,
Tom
The black and twist two tone look will fit Tonka’s interior perfectly.
Not yet. But my recent experiences with Royal Mail would tally with that!Have your brackets not arrived yet. I posted on Tuesday. RM 2nd class small parcel recorded

The volico paint that audifan started a group buy on@depronman
Bracket and trims arrived today. Now for some plasticote!
It would be great to be able to create a grained texture !
I am currently thinking a stitched leather gaiter might work.
Thanks for all the hard work.
What is the best paint to colour match to Soul Black?

you have been added to the reserve list at position 14, highly unlikely that you will get a bracket out of the batch one, but there could be another batch in the future if there is sufficient confirmed and paid for brackets.Late to this project but very keen on this improvement.
Would you mind adding me to the reserve list for one bracket and any necessary trimmings please?
So it's a x1 with UK mainland delivery for me.
