@Muska @steaman just for your reference guys I screenshotted this a while ago and is a reverse of what you’ve suggested but I really like the ideaMy CS offside rear arch has the exact same problem in pretty much the exact same place. I am undecided as to whether to repaint as factory or take the opportunity to paint all the arches in Misano Red, leaving the rest of the CS black details as factory . . I've spent the best of part of a year trying to decide!

I also have a Misano Storm and am considering various paint alterations: I really like this version with the colour coded rubbing strips and mirrors!@Muska @steaman just for your reference guys I screenshotted this a while ago and is a reverse of what you’ve suggested but I really like the ideaView attachment 43603View attachment 43604
I’m afraid it’s not as good as trusty A2 knowing that what car is better than a A2 ?Small update:
Yesterday, I left a deposit on this:
An R32 has been on my radar for quite some time as a car to own one day and I absolutely can't wait to pick it up! Will be taking over daily driver duties from Hue, allowing him to be garaged and to keep his mileage down a little as I do lots in a year. Some might think this is a little backwards driving a 6pot hatch daily and locking my little 3 cylinders away! ?
I've already had a look at the R32OC and it's not a patch on this club, so fear not, you'll not be losing me to them just yet!
In other news, Hue has a full Bose kit waiting for install along with a host of other bits but there is no great rush at the minute, he's off to WOM at the end of the month for a little maintenance work, while I rebuild the funds a little and get cracking on my plans for him this year
I started at 8am lol and finished at 13:45
Today Heu got a thorough detailing in preparation for Stanford Hall tomorrow. I started at 08:30 and finished at 13:00!
Pressure Wash
Bilt Hamber wheel cleaner - Dwell, agitate with soft brush and rinse
Bilt Hamber snow foam - dwell for 5 mins then rinse
2 Bucket wash method - Meguiars shampoo & lambs wool mitt
Pressure washer rinse
Dry with a Kent drying towel
Dressed all trim, arches & tyres with Meguiars Endurance tyre gel & buffed off
Polished with AutoGlym Super Resin Polish - had to get the wife to help with this bit as it was switching between quite sunny and looking like it might rain at any minute!
Pressure wash rinse
Gyeon Wet Coat sealant sprayed on & pressure washed off
Dried with another Kent drying towel.
Just had time to get him back in the garage before the rain started spitting
In other news, Heu had a visit to WOM a couple of days ago for a slight oil leak & a new thermostat & temp sensor, superb service from WOM once again, couldn't be happier ?
Looking forward to seeing lots of you at the show tomorrow!
I may as well give up cleaning my CS ready for tomorrow it will never look as good as yours!! See you tomorrow

@Muska Just out of pure curiosity, how much would a new rear glass + spoiler cost?Updates with Hue have been a bit slow of late as I've been ill for the last few months but today he had his MOT (I've almost owned him a year now) he passed with flying colors requiring only a number plate bulb. Which of course unearthed the famous rusted beyond use screws so new lenses and stainless screws have just hit my order list for the near future!
I also had a package from @Rickmeister with my parts from Audi Tradition.
A HUUUGE thanks to Rick for everything, an absolute pleasure to deal with
These will form part of the rear end refresh I'm going to do, there is a scratch near the A2 badge currently so I'm going to remove the current badges have the tail gate touched up/painted and refit. Also, where the spoiler seal has blown there is staining behind the rear glass, I did look into a new rear glass/spoiler but the cost is a little more than I can afford at the minute, perhaps next year. For now I'll remove the glass and re seal it once cleaned out. Also if possible I want to split off the lower rear tailgate panel to give everything a really thorough clean/detail. @A2Steve I think you may have removed a tailgate glass before, any tips for removal/refitting and what to secure it with?
At the end of the month my original sport wheels are going to be refurbished, I was so smitten with @Special edition wheels at Stamford Hall I can't wait to get mine done! Once I have them back I'll be ceramic coating them and most likely selling the Pepperpots now the car wont be used in winter. I'll likely get them refurbished first so they're nice and mint for someone.
That just leaves me with a small mountain of parts in the house to have fitted... ?
