Project A2 DUNE

@gromand all rear bulbs were replaced with led's on my FSI, however a couple of things need to be considered..
1. For indicators the flasher relay needs to be modified, instructions on the forum.
2. If replacing the side & brake lights then ideally you need a basic drivers display unit, otherwise an info dis will flag up bulb failures.
3. Fitting resistors across the led lamps will negate the need for the above, BUT beware the heat created doesn't melt anything.

These are quite expensive, but I have tried umpteen variants and these are the brightest and best coloured I have found to date.

Regards....Rob

I would be worried about strain on shock absorber at that, can’t imagine there is much more extension?

What are you planning to do with the arches. Possible the wheel now sits in a different position in relation to the arch. Thought there was some regulation about the wheel can not protrude out further than the arch, and something about the tread also can't stick out. Need someone familiar with the full new UK MOT regs. Better safe than pulled by P.C. Plod.

The outside of the rim is in line with the wheel arch so it's all good.

I'll see how the back settles, but will probably end up fitting the matching springs to the front.

I liked the idea of fitting All terrain tyres to it, but I can't get any that are small enough to fit in the arch from front to back, even using 14 inch rims.
Yeah that would have looked cool. And complemented the higher stance.
