^^^ Absolutely do this, and put them back in via the boot afterwards as well. This should save you from scratching up your B- and C-pillar trims with the ends of the seat rails.Hi Louis,
It might seem daft, but it may be better when unbolted to tilt the front seats back and take them out through the boot, (after previously removing the back seats!!)
