Today I.....

Yesterday finished off fitting of new intercooler, eventually properly fixing the horn in place and fitting a third intercooler diverter.

Gave myself a couple of days and went well.

Many thanks to @A2Steve for getting the diverter to me next day so I could put the car back together.

Lol. I have a mate who’s into off roading with a collection of land rovers some quite beat up looking panel wise
He loves coming to work and parking it next to some execs fancy wheels covered in mud especially when it’s going to rain hard. There is often a mud slide off the land rover just where the exec needs to stand to get into his fancy wheels
The more mud he can get on the landy the better in his books

I noticed that you have parked right over so you don't get a parking dent from that funny red car ?

Fitted the "new" CCCU and ordered VCDS so I can program it. Post cambelt and oil change a check engine light came on, read the codes and it was just a low voltage issue which I know about as thats the main car fault. (phew). Will await the activation for VCDS and FINGERS CROSSED program the CCCU to the key and thats it.

Looks really good especially in Platinum.

I could really use a black one of these myself, or should i say my son's could but i can't bring myself to pay more money for one than some complete cars are being sold for.

If someone has one available at sensible money please contact me ?
 
I jacked up my A2 for the first time and attached a replacement passenger side front wheel arch liner for the one that was missing, changed the air filter, put in the blinds and headlight switch from @A2Steve (which have made all the difference) and swapped out the snapped door mirror switch for a new one. And went for a drive to the beach to stretch her legs (and make sure the wheel arch didn’t fall out ?)
