A2OC Club Badges

I've just noticed my original club badge on the RNS passenger door has lost its red paint (the off-side one is still fine). So, if the original badge is no longer to be available it looks like a tedious job of removal, repainting, replacement will have to be part of my A2 Spring revival project.:(
 
Hi Alan,

The red part was an enamel layer - there's been several instances of the road salt getting behind this layer and blowing it out as the metal under it corroded.

I'll let the supplier know if these issues for the next run and hopefully the problem won't recur.

i think its a great idea and best place to locate it in my opinion is under the A2 badge on the rear or even below the side repeaters. as a matter of interest, what gem is associated with a 10 year anniversary?

I'd even go for a transfer if it was tasteful enough.
something like the European ones,10 stars round the outside and A2OC on the inside of it:cool:

Blue Sapphire is the Gem, and ten years is BLUE OR SILVER

so how about a badge in a brushed aluminium finish with a vibrant blue inscription - would look good and distinctive on any colour car.

I've love one for my a2, one for the s3 and one for my girlfriends s3, if she'd let me that is!

Me too, I recently emailed the club regarding the badges, I am so bummed about not having one... as of May 13th they are still investigating the badges.

A tip could be that when you order you have to order a minimum of two badges, then maybe we could do both? :) I think almost all A2OC people would love a badge let alone a 10th anniversaryone.... need to market it harder guys!!! :)))))

I like my A2OC badge and my A2 proudly displays one. I'd like it even more if the white background was swapped out for Silver (Pantone 877).
 
Any update on the club badges and the potential for anniversary badges? :confused:

I'd like to replace one of mine thats tarnished, and if theres a new design for 10 years of A2 agreed upon I would proudly display.

This subject has come up periodically; then withered on the vine.

Can we confirm if new members can / will be able to buy badges and 'wisened' clubbers like me can replace knackered ones??

As one of my club badges is now devoid of any colour, I'd be very interested in replacing both of mine and then repainting my original pair to keep as spares.

Hope this is possible sometime soon!
