Evening everyone,
Today I managed to contact Cut-Tec and we now have secured the additional 20 footrests for the same price of £3.91 each delivered to me in Leicestershire.
This was the plan as recently mentioned on here but I was unable to call them back yesterday (a new deadline imposed on me), all sorted now though, therefore the list can now increase upto 113 footrests.
Register your interest before they are all spoken for as the next order at this price will be a minimum order of 93 @ £300.80.
I’ll update the list later this evening and also send out PMs to the new member son the list to request payment.
This really is fantastic news and I really like the way this company has enabled what we want, their assistance and flexibility has been superb.
I will be sending them the files for the armrest bracket next week to see what they can do with the price.

Good morning everyone,
A PM requesting payment has been sent to the recently added members to the list.
The order is ready to be submitted later today as I am happy to cover the costs of the 2 unpaid footrests along with the additional 20 we finally secured (a truly brilliant outcome). I know the funds for this are readily available and will be sent to me by Ian @Proghound in due course.
Any unsold/unpaid for footrest will be collected by Ian @Bargepower, and delivered to the shop (@Proghound) for purchase in the Suff area. Ian @Proghound will control sales after the point of collection, no date set but all will be transparent on this thread once the details are finalised.
My thanks go to you all for your support me on this venture, some of you will remember back to post #1 that this all started due to me being let down over a recent eBay purchase. I paid £25 (received full refund) including delivery for the item you see in the very first picture in this thread, I was happy to pay this as it was a rare item a few weeks ago. Its simply astonishing that we have secured these footrests at £3.91 each (plus a little for tape and delivery but not the end of the world)
So 20 days after said post #1 and Im submitting an order for 113 footrests, Im just amazed at what can still be achieved in these strange times so quickly. Obviously not yet seen the finished item but I really am chuffed that I am getting what I thought I was was getting 3 weeks ago, a lot cheaper I must add and of course have the pleasure of enabling another 100+ A2s to also have the same item fitted.
There are only 13 footrests available now so please do register your interest soonest by responding within this thread. Once they have all been sold the only way to get them again at this low price is to submit another order, that will need to meet the minimum order total of 93 footrests.

I can confirm that we have now purchased 113 Bespoke A2 Footrests and they will all be with me soon as Cutting Technologies can get their machines into actions and delivered to me here in Leicestershire.
Soon as they arrive I will start to package them up along with adding the tape to the package for those of you who have paid for it.
The packages will be taken to my local Hermes shop within 24 hours of receipt on a 2-3 day service.
I’m quite certain that by next weekend, or just after you will be fitting these to your A2.

98 out of the 100 spoken for footrests now paid for. Thank you to everyone for your timely payments.
Only 13 remaining so don't leave it too late to purchase one as they will no doubt all be sold over the coming days.
I have also received 11 rolls of the 3M tape mentioned earlier in the thread. On current orders I only need 10 rolls but purchased an extra roll should any of the remaining 13 footrests need them.

If I receive interest in 14 footrests and @justjust73 is still yet to pay, then this members interest will be removed and the final footrest will go to the next person, hope that makes sense.
I want to be fair to everyone and but the deadline has past and I have sent 2 PMs now and still no response.

Evening all,
Those of you that can recall as far back as post #1 and my posts on pages 402 & 403 on the 'Today I..." thread will understand that I was quite excited about securing the eBay item some 3.5 weeks ago. You will also remember that I was also quickly disappointed about being let down by the seller and therefore investigated to see what was possible to get a company to make this for me/us.
As I was hoping to get a TT Style Footrest fitted into Project OEM soonest, I think that I need to come clean about a major truth bend with this order... The order submission date!
I actually, out of my own pocket submitted the order rather early and just hoped that all you interested members indeed paid for what you had put your name to. I know you have and I truly thank you making this a simple process.
With the order going in a lot sooner than I let on I have the absolute pleasure in informing you that I have 113 A2 Bespoke Footrests on the floor next to me as I type this post.
What can I say about them, well they are with out question, outstanding. I have taken pictures which I will add but they just don't do our footrests any justice. The look, feel, weight, brushed finish and exact cutting detail is just above and beyond what I was expecting but truly hoped for. The A2 text looks awesome in Audi Extended Font with the rearward facing addition to the 'A', just like the back of your trusty stead. So much better than what I had lost out to early last month.
Cutting Technologies really have made something beautiful that we can all have in our Aluminium Friends. I am so happy with the finished item in my hand right now, simply stunning, in my opinion is an understatement.
I will start to package these up tomorrow and get them sent either Sunday or Monday on the stated 2-3 day service that you have paid for, I promise you will not be disappointed at all. You will have these fitted before next weekend.
Here are a few pictures as promised, of the item that I am so proud of, don't know why as all I done was make a phone call and asked Paul @depronman to work on a CAD file.

Once you receive your footrest can you please supply a picture of it in your A2 (on this thread) as this will surely assist with generating interest for a second order, as I don't see the remaining 13/14 unspoken for items hanging around for long.

I have enjoyed this little venture/adventure and have been amazed by the superb support shown throughout by the Admin Team along with the great members of this amazing Club.
