Hello to all A2OC members,

The purpose of this thread is to announce that I'll once again be based in Leighton Buzzard soon. At the beginning of the year, it was my intention to do a 'South East Residency' in the springtime, but various demands upon my time have kept delaying my trip.

From Saturday 1st July, I intend to base myself in Leighton Buzzard, just to the north of London. Massive thanks are owed to @Proghound for allowing me to work and live at his house. Compared to some previous open-ended visits, the length of my upcoming stay in Leighton Buzzard is limited to two weeks.
Of course, I shall do my utmost to fulfil as many requests as possible. Should the demand for my time exceed the number of booking slots, I will try to prioritise seeing as many club members as possible. As such, if your desires are likely to use more than a full day of my time, I may request that the job is either trimmed or delayed until a later opportunity.

Please be aware that there are some limitations to the range of services that I can provide when away from home. For example, some upgrades require parts that I won't have the space to transport. Some parts may be out of stock or unavailable due to Brexit implications or the continued impact of the Russo-Ukrainian war. I also cannot complete all upgrades at weekends, so I'd be grateful if Saturdays and Sundays were left available to those with no alternative.

At the bottom of this message, I have tagged many club members who have made contact with me in recent months who may appreciate my greater proximity. However, this is not an exhaustive or exclusive list; my services are open to all who are able to meet me.

Once the bookings are finalised I will PM everyone who's coming with the location postcode, 'last 50 yards' directions and, for those of you who don't have satnavs, route suggestions from the motorways. I look forward to welcoming you all, friends old and new

Is it easier if I post the Pro Boost ECU and get it done that way. I still have my old ECU so there's no problem. I don't want to unnecessarily take up one of your slots as I don't need anything else done presently.

It's no problem, Hitesh. The days are divided into AM/PM because it makes the initial framework easy. As a general rule, I see two A2s per day. Some A2s require a whole day, but other quick jobs, like yours, can be squeezed into the gaps.
Are there certain days or times that would suit you best?

Hi Tom (and Ian) - in your first week, the 4th through 7th work for me anytime. I could do the 3rd at a push. In your second week, I’m away on hols from the 11th to 18th but could - if it works - drop my car off beforehand then pick up on the 19th.

Do please let me know if the logistics I’ve suggested for the Bose kit do or don’t work for you. If not, I may have to get the lot couriered to Ian’s. Cheers!

Join us for the full weekend, or just a day. A huge thanks to Mandy ( @RZX ) for putting together what looks to be a brilliant timetable for our weekend in the North West. Friday 2 June afternoon , a local drive to Silverdale and Arnside to get a flavour of what Morecombe Bay has to offer...

Hello Timmus,
Could I please book in for Sat 8 July, to sort out key reprogramming and ignition/door lock replacement. I currently have different keys for ignition and door lock, and only one of each.
I have all the bits, including spare key blank needed to put the car back to one key operation for ignition & doors with a spare key too. Can elaborate/explain better via DM if it helps? Thanks Richard
