Good afternoon, folks.

The schedule in Post 1 of this thread is now full.

During the first two weeks of July, I very much look forward to seeing @allypug, @tnpali01, @Cenick, @MoMo, @the_luton_man, @PlasticMac, @simon martyn, @Taylor, @A2Dreamer, @sailesh, @hits, @oko, @CrispyEdd, @richardbe, @3wheeler, @Oskar, @Birchall, @dj_efk, @rubenjennings, @Erlingtheyounger, @Douglas Cheung, @sambo1455, @dr_jones, @buffetrestaurant, @KozMo, @Nick B and, of course, @Proghound.

I have arranged an arrival time with most of you, and will hope to do so with everyone soon.

During my Leighton Buzzard residencies, @Proghound's driveway is effectively a protracted A2OC social event. Those who are due to visit first on any given day are welcome to stay for longer once the work on your A2 is complete, such that you can chat to the A2 owners arriving later. Similarly, those who are due to arrive second (or third, or fourth!) on any given day are welcome to arrive early. I won't be able to shift my attention to your A2 until the preceding job is complete, but you're welcome to join the social scene and chat with other A2 owners should you wish.

Should anyone have Euros left over from holidays in Central Europe, feel free to offload these onto me at the exchange rate, with no commission charges. I'm almost always in need of Euros, so will happily accept them as payment or part-payment. No amount is too big or too small.

Ian @Proghound will be in touch with you all to share his address, contact details and some helpful directions, etc.

I'm due to be extremely busy between now and my departure for Leighton Buzzard, as I'm working on a small cavalcade of A2s in Aberdeenshire this weekend. However, I'm hoping that all preparations are now complete and that everyone is happy with the arrangements.

Best wishes to all; see you soon!

Tom

Hello everyone,

Unfortunately, I have had a cancellation, meaning that a half-day slot has become available.

Tuesday 11th July
AM: rubenjennings
PM: AVAILABLE
Now booked by @LexFire

If anyone was disappointed to miss out on my upcoming Leighton Buzzard residency, here is another chance.

@creesewads, this slot would not provide enough time to complete the work on your car, so our arrangement for Monday 17th still stands.

All the best,

Tom

Good evening Tom
I hope you are well and enjoying good health too.
Am I still on for 4:30pm?

Have a lovely evening
Mo

Hi Mo,
Tom's put the schedule in front of me and yes, I can see you're down for 4.30pm tomorrow 👍 Looking forward to meeting you :)
Regards,
Ian.

Good morning both Tom and Ian,

What a pleasure to see you both for the "morning slot" yesterday (3rd.July). Watching you at work Tom, is a pleasure and a privelege. I was pleased that the rear electric window fix looks to be a solution to a problem that I am sure we will be seeing more of in the coming years. Depronman kit being used. Returned home hugely cheered.

All the very best,

Thanks again,

Simon

Good morning Ian and Tom
It's Mo here 🙂 I wanted to say to both of you gentleman how lovely it was to meet you in person. It was an absolute pleasure and I really enjoyed my evening and your company.
Thank you Ian for hosting and Tom for sorting out my now little pocket rocket! 👌

Tom my friend you are the man when it comes to A2s and your knowledge about these lovely cars are comprehensive and I thank you for sorting out the extra bits on my car even though I didn't ask or expect it and you did it from kindness and without charge. I'm touched and sincerely grateful! 🤗

Keep up the good work Tom and to Ian, sir, you are an amazing host 🤝.

Good health, peace and prosperity to you and yours

Mohammed

Mo it was an absolute pleasure to meet you and it was a very convivial end to the day's schedule in your company. I look forward to seeing you again in your A2 journey. There are a couple of socials coming up on the 16th if you're interested, you'd be warmly welcomed at either one :) (see the sidebar on the homepage for details).

Hi Ian and Tom,

Great to see you both again, thanks for the hospitality 😄 and, of course, the tonne of work done by Tom.

Top job!

Now have heated leather with lumbar, cruise, Bluetooth music and phone, flat bottom MFSW integrated with phone and audio and full colour DIS.

Well chuffed 😊

Cheers

Pete

I would just like to say a huge Thankyou to @timmus and @Proghound for their work on my car on Saturday. Its so good to see two people who really know their stuff working on my car! So much was achieved too. Things planned, unplanned and discussed and worked into the time. The Saturday involved originally fitting a new rear speaker kit and loom, which sounds amazing. Also some USB sockets/leads for phone and dashcam, DRL mod to the lightswitch, drivers door checkstrap, rear doorlock soldering with lead-based solder and investigating a broken drivers window switch. Also, rerouting my Bluetooth phone-mic so it can be mounted correctly in the headlining (which is off ready for a new OSS from @Kleynie in a couple of weeks time). Brilliant discussions too, and great to have met so many members too- there were 6 A2s there at one time- lots of really nice ones that I can hope to lift mine up to!

It was great to meet you Andy, during what was a really sociable afternoon with the others owners coming and going. This is exactly why I'm so happy to host Tom's residency, it's like an extended A2OC social right on my driveway. It's always good to see and read about A2 owners' satisfaction and enjoyment of our work (mainly Tom's, of course!) 👍 Looking forward to seeing you again hopefully at a social or even back for more retrofits next time :)

I echo every positive comment about Tom and Ian.
Another set of improvements to another of my A2s. All to the same exacting standards.
I have been a loyal and very happy customer of Tom’s for many years and I am always impressed with everything he does.
Thank you Tom.
Ian is s great guy and helped do much and supplied several missing parts and lots of help.
My car had more missing tweeters than an aviary with an open door.

A great way to spend s Sunday.

Mr. Ian @Proghound (super host and some) and Sir Tom @timmus, it was an absolute honour spending time with you both.

Undoubtedly, and well documented, the knowledge and work ethic from you both were outstanding today, but it was the social aspect I enjoyed the most.

Don't really have any words that can describe the experience, but I have a massive smile on my face from waving at other A2 owners passing by, using cruise control on my journey home (God send), and feeling like I've met some good people in this crazy world!

@rubenjennings, great to meet you also, you have a fantastic motor!

Much Love! 🙏🏼
