I met with @Vorsprung durch Technik on a social distance basis - lovely to chat A2’s, check out his A2 + chat Audi’s. Lovely guy and a gent - thanks for the rare alloy, now I have a Full set.

Finally got round to putting a couple of the a2oc stickers into ‘Tonka’ and added his TT pedal covers in readiness for the addition of the footrest when it arrives ?

Hi Erling,
They may seem common right now but remember that only 113 have been available. Compare this figure to how many frequent these pages and you will soon see that there will be many readers after what you have. The word ‘common’ might well be replaced to ‘desirable’, ‘wanted’ or ‘needed’ over the coming weeks once you all place a picture of your footwell on this thread.
Until a possible second order goes into Cut-Tec in a few months, which may not happen, these are certainly not common. They are simply just the must have item to accompany your TT Pedals.
You’ll be surprised how many PMs I’ve had asking if there are any spare footrests available.

Sorry Rob! I won't be wanting another one though, so I'm out of the running when any more come up. I really didn't think it would still be there when I messaged this morning, and had visions of someone having beaten me to it by the time I got there, but she was as good as her word and there it was. Well pleased with the way today has gone so far

Also took delivery today of a pair of headlights I bought off eBay last week - very happy with them, they're as good as they looked in the photos, I'd give them both 8/10. Rare to see a pair for sale let alone decent ones. From the manufacturing labels, they're originals not replacements, I'd guess the car they came off was garaged for most of its life. Those will be going on the Storm along with new TT pedal covers next time it comes out of the garage ?
